Roars of War: The War for the North: Book Two

Texto en inglés. Tapa blanda de editorial ilustrada. Como nuevo. WAR HAS COME TO THE SEVEN HILLS. WAR HAS COME TO DOOMFALL. WAR IS ALL THERE IS...... Lord Alvarion and Commander Axennus Teagh set their wits and wrath against the immortal demon called Waif as the vast army of the Red Wraith pummels Eryn Ruil. Lady Cerriste leads the women and children of the Fiannar southward in search of sanctuary. The Halflord commands his forces in terrible contest with the mighty Daradur at Doomfall. And the three heroes of the Guardian Peoples face demons and Darkness in their quest to finally and forever remove the Blood King from the Teller's Tale...... Honour and treachery, madness and bravery, triumph and tragedy - all combine and entwine to become the gripping and heart-wrenching story that is The War for the North...... Drawing from history, mythology, philosophy and theology, the story is exquisitely layered, extremely well-written, with strong plot, sub-plot and character developments. Humour, horror and heroism abound, and the places, people and relationships are compellingly believable and captivating. Comparisons to classics like Lord of the Rings and to modern popular fantasy epics such as The Malazan Book of the Fallen are inevitable, but the author has certainly carved his own distinct niche between the two with his unique style and fearless deviation from the standard tried and true formulaic fantasy tale.
