Unperturbed by jetlag, a new environment, and some rather cryptic clues that look like messages out of a fortune cookie, Mitchell, Donald and Clare team up with Jade to try and solve the mystery. The teenagers race across Singapore, exploring well-known and less well-known parts of the island, in the search for Jade's grandfather. They soon discover that everything is linked to something called the Green Lotus and a family legend.
